We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Full-Time Sales Assistant to join our team, working primarily within our formalwear department.
This is a customer-focused retail role, helping customers find the right outfit for weddings, debs, special occasions and everyday formalwear.
No previous formalwear experience is required – full training will be provided. We’re more interested in finding someone who is friendly, confident with customers and keen to learn.
The Role
- Providing friendly and helpful customer service.
- Helping customers choose suits, shirts, shoes and accessories.
- Offering advice on fit, colours and styling.
- Assisting customers with fittings.
- Keeping the department organised, stocked and well presented.
- Processing sales and assisting with the day-to-day running of the store.
- Learning about our different brands, products and formalwear collections.
- Working alongside the wider Gerard Anthony team during busy periods.
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable dealing with customers.
- Good communication and people skills.
- An interest in fashion and menswear.
- Reliable, organised and a good team player.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Previous retail or customer service experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
