Junior Helpdesk Support Specialist
Location: Dublin 8, Ireland
Working Model: Hybrid - minimum 2 days per week onsite
Contract: 12 months, with the option of one further 12-month extension
Start Date: 9 October 2026
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 hours per day, between 08:00 and 19:00
Out-of-Hours: A small degree of flexibility may occasionally be required

About the Role
We are seeking Junior Helpdesk Support Specialists to provide high-quality first-line and Level 2 ICT support to users in a busy service desk environment.
The successful candidates will have a minimum of three years' experience working in an ICT Helpdesk Support role and will be confident troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users and managing incidents and service requests through to resolution.
Experience supporting Android mobile devices, together with knowledge of Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM and Samsung Knox, will be highly valuable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose customer technical issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Deliver professional and responsive technical support to end users.
- Manage incidents and service requests through a service desk management console.
- Ensure service requests and incidents receive an efficient and appropriate turnaround.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date ticket and service records.
- Monitor and manage assigned support requests through to resolution.
- Communicate clearly with users regarding technical issues, progress and resolutions.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the support process.
- Escalate issues appropriately when they cannot be resolved at the relevant support level.
- Assist colleagues and technical teams through documentation, knowledge sharing and coaching.
- Support users with mobile and endpoint-related technical issues.
- Troubleshoot Android mobile operating system issues and provide user assistance.
- Support mobile device management activities where required.
- Assist with device configuration, enrolment and troubleshooting.
- Undertake additional technical support tasks and ad hoc duties as required.
Mandatory Experience
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an ICT Helpdesk Support role.
- Experience working within a structured IT service desk or helpdesk environment.
- Demonstrable experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing resolutions.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Experience supporting end users with hardware, software and general ICT issues.
- Experience managing incidents and service requests.
Desirable Technical Experience
Experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous:
- Supporting Android mobile devices and users.
- Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM certification or hands-on experience.
- Samsung Knox certification or hands-on experience.
- Mobile device management and endpoint administration.
- Service desk management and ticketing systems.
Key CompetenciesICT Helpdesk Support
Strong practical experience providing technical assistance to users, diagnosing issues and delivering appropriate solutions within a service desk environment.
Customer Service
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and patiently with users of varying technical abilities.
Troubleshooting
A structured and logical approach to diagnosing hardware, software, mobile device and user-related technical issues.
Android Support
Practical experience supporting Android devices, including troubleshooting operating system, configuration, connectivity and user issues.
Mobile Device Management
Knowledge or experience of enterprise mobile device management solutions, particularly Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM and Samsung Knox.
Communication & Documentation
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and maintain accurate records, support documentation and knowledge articles.
Teamwork
Ability to work effectively with colleagues, technical specialists and other support functions while contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Mandatory Qualifications
Candidates must hold either:
- A Level 6 or higher qualification in Computing under the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ);
or
- Previous experience in an ICT Helpdesk Support role together with relevant industry-recognised qualifications, such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL v4.
Language Requirement
Full professional proficiency in English.
Candidates should clearly demonstrate their ICT Helpdesk experience, customer service skills and technical experience, particularly in relation to Android devices, mobile device management, Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM and Samsung Knox.

Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per hour
