We are seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Cork, working on a range of water infrastructure projects across West/Southwest of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of mechanical and electrical works from project commencement through to final account. This is an excellent opportunity to work on essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial aspects of M&E water infrastructure projects.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate financial reporting.
- Measure and value completed works, including subcontractor accounts.
- Prepare interim valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Assist with procurement and subcontractor management.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Experience working as an M&E Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure or utilities projects.
- Previous experience within the water or wastewater sector is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software.
- Full Irish driving licence is an advantage.
