Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Core Responsibilities include:
Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Safely unloading delivery trucks and efficiently putting away pallets into designated warehouse storage locations.
Inventory Control: Checking off incoming deliveries using a handheld scanner to ensure 100% accuracy against paperwork.
Order Picking: Accurately selecting and picking products for customer orders using scanning technology or pick sheets.
Dispatch Preparation: Securing, packing, and labeling picked orders to ensure they are ready for safe transit to customers.
Health & Safety: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration: Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily shift targets and deadlines.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
A proactive and team-oriented approach.
Experience operating a pallet truck or forklift is highly preferred (but not essential).
