We are seeking an experienced Senior Bar person to take the lead in elevating our drinks experience, supporting a talented team, and continuing to deliver the outstanding bar service Cornstore is known for.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone with both creative flair and operational excellence. You’ll be involved in every aspect of the bar — from mixology innovation to operational performance — while creating a guest experience that feels distinctly Cornstore. The Rate of pay will be agreed on based on your experience and knowledge of the beverage industry in Cork City and Ireland
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and motivate the bar team to deliver best-in-class service and cocktails.
- Create and evolve seasonal cocktail menus showcasing premium ingredients and innovation.
- Support bar operations including stock control, ordering, and cost management.
- Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation, and speed of service.
- Support staff training, mentoring, and performance development.
- Work closely with the GM, bar manager and marketing team on events and activations.
- Uphold all licensing, safety, and hygiene regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a senior cocktail or bar role in a high-end venue.
- Proven creativity in cocktail development and presentation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Confident in customer interation.
- Passionate about hospitality and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Hands-on, stylish, and team-focused — a leader with personality and professionalism.
