Production Supervisor – Timber Frame / Modular Homes – Urlingford, Kilkenny
A growing manufacturer within the timber frame and modular housing sector is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join its operations team in Urlingford, Kilkenny.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor with strong production experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality modular and timber frame housing projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, ensuring targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate production teams, monitor workflow, and support continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production operations within the timber frame/modular manufacturing facility
- Coordinate production staff and ensure workflow efficiency
- Monitor productivity, quality, and production targets
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
- Assist with production planning and scheduling
- Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Support training and development of production operatives
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Work closely with management, stores, and logistics teams
Requirements
- Previous experience in a production supervisory role
- Manufacturing, construction, timber frame, or modular housing experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good understanding of health & safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement an advantage
