Due to the continued growth of O’Neill Construction Projects, we are seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Foreman for an upcoming project in Clontarf.
The successful candidate must be capable of independently managing the day-to-day groundworks operations, leading a crew and ensuring the works are completed safely, correctly and in accordance with the programme.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate groundworkers, machine operators and subcontractors.
- Plan daily activities and allocate labour, plant and materials.
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Coordinate setting out and check lines, levels and dimensions.
- Oversee drainage, ducting, foundations, concrete works, rising walls and external works.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, main contractor and design team.
- Identify drawing discrepancies or missing information at an early stage.
- Ensure all works comply with RAMS, health and safety requirements and quality standards.
- Organise deliveries and monitor plant and material requirements.
- Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworks Site Foreman or in a similar supervisory position.
- Strong practical knowledge of all aspects of groundworks.
- Ability to confidently manage and motivate a site crew.
- Ability to read and work from construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements.
- Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates.
- Full driving licence preferred.

Pay: €28.00-€35.00 per hour
