Job Summary:
This role is for an Accounts Assistant - AP to join our Finance Team. The role will be based in our Head Office in Dunleer, Co. Louth and will also require travel to our Dundalk, Co. Louth facility. This role will perform AP duties as well as other accounts duties which will allow the person to develop, learn new skills and take on responsibility in financial accounting.
Responsibilities include:

Full responsibility for the management of the Creditors Ledger, including posting invoices, generating payments, answering queries
- Reconciling supplier statements

Purchase Order and GRN oversight

Assist with the month-end accounts preparation

Provide administrative support to the Finance Team

Ad hoc projects as required by Finance Director
Experience and Requirements:
-
Time management: ability to organise, prioritise, multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Minimum 2 to 3 years recent experience working within a fast-paced finance environment

Accounts Technician qualification desired but not essential

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger
- Payroll Processing Desirable

Proficient in the use of MS Excel
- SAP Business One experience an advantage

Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information in an inventory environment

Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communications skills, both verbal and written

Proven experience in handling a wide range of administration tasks with the ability to take responsibility for own workload while being part of a larger team

Possess a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
Additional Information:
The job requires the ability to work under pressure, while prioritising objectives in a constantly changing environment. Will assume other duties, as assigned by the Finance Director.
