The role
Located in Temple Bar, Port House Pintxo offers a romantic underground vibe with booth seating where you can enjoy a range of tapas and an eclectic wine list alongside port and sherries.
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef de Partie for a Full Time role as part of our friendly team in Port House Ibericos.
The CDP will work closely with the Head Chef and restaurant manager in ensuring all aspects of the kitchen are managed efficiently. You will assist in managing the kitchen team to deliver the highest quality food, in a busy and fast paced kitchen environment.
As a CDP you will:
- Have a keen eye for detail to oversee the preparation, portioning and appearance of the food served
- Ensuring that all menu items are prepared in accordance with The Port House recipe standards
- Promote teamwork and cohesiveness between the kitchen and front of house
- Have excellent communication skills, ensuring timely kitchen service and maintaining good communications with staff
- Have a strong knowledge and proven understanding in HACCP, modern food preparation techniques and kitchen management
- Have a positive attitude, ability to multitask and be comfortable working under pressure
Requirements:
- At least two years Chef experience
- Good knowledge and experience of health and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, including a fluetn level of English
- Availability to work fulltime hours, including nights and weekends
