We are now accepting applications for the role of Parts Delivery Driver / General Operative to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an award winning Toyota Dealership and Ireland's best selling car brand.
In this role you will be working in a very busy franchised dealership with a team of dedicated professionals.
Candidates will be comfortable working in a team environment. If you are an energised, motivated candidate with a can-do attitude to work very efficiently, follow direction well, and with a natural autonomy to work on their own initiative, this could be the role for you.
This is a fast paced role handling goods in a very busy environment, where timely delivery to our customers is essential. Excellent english, communication skills and self presentation required as a representative of our business.
The ideal candidate would need:
- At least one year’s recent experience in Delivery driving, excellent communication skills both written and verbal with fluent English.
- Full clean driver’s licence is essential.
- Execute assigned tasks in an very efficient manner and work well under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent time keeping essential.
- Maintain accurate daily route records.
- Load and unload the van when distributing products to the customer maintaining accurate records and ensuring that the movement of products is transacted efficiently, correctly and on time.
- Deliver products to customers by utilising efficient delivery routes
- Lifting of goods is required in this role, and manual handling training will be provided.
Essential Requirements
- Van delivery experience is essential
- Have some flexibility in working hours to ensure all customer deliveries are completed
- Full Clean European Driving Licence
- Must have permits to live and work in Ireland
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Delivering products to customers in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner
- Bringing overnight parts deliveries from the lock up to our parts department as required
- Take vehicles for DOE testing
- Collection and delivery of customers vehicles for our Service Department
- New business generation
- Other ad hoc duties as required
