CAD ENGINEER - PRECAST CONCRETE
Concast require an experienced CAD Engineer, to join their expanding design team. Established in 1975, Concast are leading precast concrete design and manufacturers, working on major structures in Ireland and the UK such as car parks, office blocks, retail centres, marina, civil structures and sports stadia. This role will be based at our head-office in West Dublin.
The successful candidate will ideally:
- Design experience with precast concrete structures
- Qualification in engineering or similar
- Excellent computer skills including CAD, Tekla or Revitt
- Experienced with retail distribution centres and dock leveller projects
- Ability to achieve high level of accuracy
- Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good attention to detail, to ensure accuracy in drawings
- Good people skills and ability to manage a team
- Excellent communication skills required and people skills
Key activities for the role includes:
- Produce general arrangements and layouts for precast concrete structures
- Ideally with BIM experience such as Tekla/Revitt
- Liaising with client design team in relation to live projects
- Liaising with production personnel on daily basis
- Creating accurate production drawings in line with project requirements.
