About Us
Blanch Music is a well-established music school in Dublin 15 which is now expanding to Trim, Co. Meath, home to a team of around 25 teachers delivering private and group lessons across a wide range of instruments. We're known for a warm, encouraging teaching environment and a strong track record of student progression and retention.
The Role
We're looking for a Part Time Violin Teacher to join our team, delivering private violin lessons to students of varying ages and abilities. This is a great opportunity for a passionate, qualified teacher who wants flexible, term-time hours in a supportive school environment — without the overhead of running a private studio.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well-structured private violin lessons to students ranging from beginners to advanced level
- Prepare students for RIAM or ABRSM exams where relevant
- Track and communicate student progress to parents/guardians using My Music Staff ( or equivalent software)
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records (Through MMS)
- Contribute to a positive, encouraging studio culture
What We're Looking For
- RIAM, ABRSM or equivalent exam-prep teaching experience preferred
- Strong violin performance and pedagogical background
- Ability to teach students across a range of ages (children through adult learners)
- Reliable, professional, and personable
- Available for weekday afternoon/evening lessons
- Garda vetting required (School will undertake Vetting for the successful candidate)
- Child Protection Training (Tusla - School will assist with this process)
