Pharmacy Technician – Plaza Pharmacy, Swords
Plaza Pharmacy, Swords is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the day-to-day operation of a busy community pharmacy.
No late nights or bank holidays as we open from 9am until 6pm Monday to Friday only.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Handle customer queries and direct patients to the pharmacist when appropriate.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and merchandising of pharmacy products.
- Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the pharmacy.
- Support the team in achieving excellent patient care and customer satisfaction.
- Operate the pharmacy computer system and process sales transactions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy procedures and regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician or currently working towards a recognised Pharmacy Technician qualification.
- Passionate about helping customers and building positive relationships with people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential.
