IRE Recruitment Services are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Qualified Electrician to join an established electrical contractor working across commercial and industrial projects in Cork and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician with strong installation experience, a solid understanding of commercial and industrial environments, and the ability to carry out fault finding and maintenance work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical installations across commercial and industrial sites
- Perform fault finding, diagnostics and repair work on electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Install, maintain and test electrical systems, wiring, containment and associated equipment
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Work as part of a site team while also being capable of working on your own initiative
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures and site regulations
- Complete works in line with current electrical standards and client requirements
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician with relevant trade certification
- Strong commercial and industrial electrical experience
- Proven fault finding experience
- Ability to work from drawings and technical plans
- Good understanding of electrical testing and maintenance
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling desirable
- Full clean driving licence an advantage
- Strong work ethic, reliability and good communication skills
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a hands on electrician who is comfortable working across busy commercial and industrial sites, can think for themselves on fault finding issues, and takes pride in delivering quality work safely and efficiently.
