The Role
This is a commercial role with a sales edge. We’re looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is as comfortable winning work as they are managing it. You’ll own the full commercial cycle on your projects, from pricing and tendering through to final account, while also helping us convert more of our pipeline into signed contracts and open new doors.
You’ll work closely with our commercial, estimating and design teams, and you’ll report directly into the senior management team. This role suits someone who wants real ownership, client-facing responsibility and the chance to shape how we grow, rather than just process numbers.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
- Proven QS experience in structural steel, construction or a related engineering sector.
- A commercially sharp, sales-minded approach. Someone who chases the deal and builds lasting client relationships.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence dealing directly with main contractors and clients.
- Excellent numeracy, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Full clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel for client meetings as required.
- Experience pricing or delivering data centre, energy or pharmaceutical projects.
- Exposure to UK or European markets and an understanding of working across borders.
- Familiarity with structural steel processes, from detailing through to installation.
