WE'RE HIRING | Stores & Logistics Operative / Driver
Peter Burke Electrical Ltd is looking for a reliable and practical Stores & Logistics Operative / Driver to join our team.
This is a hands-on role supporting our electricians and helping to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly.
The role will include:
- Collecting materials from suppliers
- Delivering materials and equipment to our electricians on site
- Driving a company van
- Loading and unloading materials
- Organising and maintaining our stores
- Monitoring commonly used stock
- Preparing materials and equipment for upcoming jobs
- Keeping vans, stores and work areas organised
- Assisting with lifting and general practical duties when required
We're looking for someone who is reliable, punctual and well organised, with good common sense and the ability to use their own initiative.
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence
- Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
- Confident and comfortable driving a commercial van
- Physically capable of lifting and handling materials
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Good organisational skills
- Safe Pass an advantage
- Previous experience in deliveries, stores, construction or a similar practical role would be beneficial, but isn't essential
Electrical experience is not required.
We're more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude who takes pride in doing a job properly and wants to become part of our team.
Pay: €15.00-€17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week
Licence/Certification:
- full Irish drivers licence (required)
- Safepass Card (preferred)
