We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate - Trustee & Depositary to join our Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Cork/Dublin
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Manage and grow Depositary client relationships ensuring strong client feedback
Schedule and run regular Depositary client meetings and attend all client board meetings and service review meetings as required. Present Depositary reports and updates as required.
Appraise clients regarding regulatory developments which impact on the Depositary role and share perspectives and thought leadership.
Work collaboratively with clients and their legal advisors to support fund developments and fund governance requirements
Work with sales and relationship management to secure new Depositary business from new and existing clients.
Ensure all Depositary client deliverables including monthly designated person reporting and quarterly board reporting are delivered on time and to a best-in-class standard
Support all client funds launch and fund change projects providing relevant Depositary inputs.
Manage the on-boarding of new business.
Lead important Depositary oversight reviews such as reviews of in-specie transfers, fund mergers, fund closures and out-conversions
Work with Depositary oversight teams to review breaches and errors and to ensure appropriate steps are taken to rectify
Prepare Central Bank of Ireland filings in respect of material errors and breaches
Provide inputs to reviews undertaken by Regulators, External auditors and internal stakeholders including the second and third lines of defence
Manage client due diligence visits
Manager RFP responses and support new business / sales presentations from the Depositary team
Manage work and client allocation within the Depositary client management team
Input and report to the Depositary governance forums as required
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Professional qualification in Accountancy / legal disciplines desirable
Third level qualification to at least degree level preferably in business/legal related discipline.
PC Literacy & Ability to operate Depositary and Fund Administration Systems
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues to the satisfaction of clients.
Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines.
Flexible mindset with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and the ability to provide cross cover for clients managed by other team members
Minimum of 5 years relevant Trustee experience would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge and understanding of the Investment Funds Industry
May suit someone coming form a professional services background entering the industry
