About the role
We're looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to be the face of the shop. You're the first person customers meet — walking in the door, phoning up, messaging us on WhatsApp, hitting the web chat or emailing in. You handle sales, book in repair jobs, help customers pick the right device or service for what they actually need, and keep the shop running smoothly.
This is a front-of-house, customer-facing role. Every day is different, and it's busy.
What you'll be doing
- Looking after customers who walk in the door — friendly, professional, no waffle
- Handling enquiries across phone, WhatsApp, web chat and email — replying quickly, following up properly, closing the sale
- Booking in repair jobs, taking payment, handing devices back to customers when work is done
- Selling computers, phones, tablets, accessories — spotting what the customer actually needs and matching them to the right product
- Handling difficult or upset customers calmly and professionally
- Keeping the shop looking sharp — presentation, displays, stock, tidiness
- Working with the workshop technicians so customers get accurate updates and realistic timelines
- Learning our systems and following our processes
What we're looking for
- Comfortable with computers, phones and tech generally — you don't need to be able to fix things, but you need to speak the language and know your way around a device
- Strong people skills — you genuinely enjoy dealing with customers, stay calm under pressure, and can be patient with people who don't know the tech
- Natural sales ability — spots opportunities, follows up on leads, closes deals without being pushy
- Well-organised — able to juggle a shop full of customers, a phone ringing, WhatsApps pinging and open repair tickets at the same time
- Reliable, punctual, well-presented
- Right to work in Ireland
Nice to have
- Retail or customer-facing work experience
- Any previous experience in tech retail
- Basic device knowledge — able to eyeball whether a laptop likely needs a screen, battery, keyboard, etc.

Hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week, across Mon–Sat, including some Saturdays. Sunday closed.
