Xtreme CSC Group have 5 state-of-the-art gyms across Southern Ireland. We are offering you a unique opportunity to join the team at Xtreme CSC, Ireland’s leading core strength and conditioning fitness operator, through our Mallow establishment. You will be directly responsible for assisting the manager of the gym, along with the continued development and innovation of the various forms of training at the club.
We are looking for somebody with an ambitious & entrepreneurial mindset, to accompany their training knowledge. You must be people centric, be able to recruit, inspire and help to develop a team and work well alongside the manager and under their direction.
Salary: TBA (Pay rise usual after probation period)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assisting with the following:
- The daily management of the gym and its staff.
- Ensure all member queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently whether in person, on the phone, or through email.
- Assisting with the training, disciplining, and effective recruitment of the department, including skills training to provide consistent, reliable service.
- Recruiting, training and developing both class trainers and personal trainers.
- Dealing with enquiries, complaints and emergencies.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Responsibility for checklists such as the lock up procedures and making sure cleaning schedules are followed up and signed.
- Maintain and update equipment, product, service and standards as required.
- Liaising with Area Manager and Admin staff.
- Management of Clubwise software and client info database for upkeep.
- Ensure that social media is kept up to date and queries answered in a timely manner.
- Various other responsibilities related to an assistant management position
