Stone Ideas Ltd is based in Lucan, Co. Dublin K78T9N6 and is a long established business in the Stone Industry. We operate nationwide providing laser templating and installation of Bespooke Quartz, Granite, Marble, Porcelain, Dekton & Silestone worktops. Working residentially and commercially, we require an experienced Worktop Templater, to join our team on the road. We seek enthusiastic individuals who want to make a difference within our business.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Measure worktops using specialist digital templating equipment
- Provide digial plans for manufactuing.
- You will need to take instructions and competently complete templating tasks.
- Use computer equipment/software for job allocation and information will need to be recorded on site and returned electronically to the office.
- Be professional with customers, colleagues and other trades people
- Communicate effectively in all aspects of your work, dealing with any queries as they arise.
- Take responsibility for the care of your tools and minimising the waste of consumables.
- Work confidently ensuring that the quality of finish is excellent.
- Be courteous to customers and uphold our reputation.
- Ensure you follow all Health and safety standards outlined by our Health and Safety handbook as well as any additional site Health and Safety procedures

Skills required:
- Manual Handling Cert ( or this can be arranged)
- Full driving licence is a must
- Experience using Digital templating machines. Would suit a skilled carpenter looking to expand their progression or someone with a previous stone fitting background. It is a suitable role for applicants with experience of cabinet making, kitchen fitting or joinery, together with an interest and aptitude in computer/CAD skills.
