We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Commercial Growth Manager to lead revenue growth and commercial performance across multiple divisions of our expanding business.
This is not a traditional sales management role. We are looking for a hands-on commercial operator focused on increasing turnover, improving profitability, driving marketing activity, growing existing customer accounts, identifying new revenue opportunities, and creating accountability across the business.
The successful candidate will oversee and drive growth across:
- LPG bulk gas sales
- Cylinder gas sales
- Solid fuel sales
- Retail store performance
- Online/e-commerce sales
- Marketing and promotions
- Commercial work generation for company fleet/trucks
- New product development and rollout
- Existing customer retention and account growth
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commercial growth strategies across all divisions
- Increase company turnover, customer retention, and profitability
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities
- Drive performance across retail stores and online sales channels
- Oversee promotions, advertising campaigns, and marketing activity
- Manage advertising and promotional budgets across all business areas
- Monitor commercial performance and ensure accountability across teams
- Identify opportunities for additional truck/fleet revenue and utilisation
- Introduce and develop new products and sales opportunities
- Coordinate pricing, margins, promotions, and sales activity
- Analyse sales performance and provide regular reporting to management
- Support and direct office sales/admin staff to maximise commercial performance
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong commercial awareness and business development ability
- Proven ability to grow revenue and improve commercial performance
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple business divisions and priorities
- Commercially aggressive with a results-focused mindset
- Confident making decisions and driving accountability
- Experience in retail, fuel, energy, transport, distribution, or similar sectors advantageous
- Comfortable managing marketing activity and promotional spend
- Self-motivated, proactive, and hands-on
