About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurses (RPNs) to join our growing agency team. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking flexible working arrangements while gaining experience across a variety of mental health and healthcare settings throughout Ireland.
As an Agency RPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, promoting recovery, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective nursing care in accordance with professional standards and best practice guidelines.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Support service users experiencing acute and enduring mental health conditions.
- Administer medications and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support services.
- Promote a therapeutic environment that supports recovery and wellbeing.
- Adhere to all safeguarding, infection prevention, and health and safety policies.
Requirements
- Active registration in the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing Register maintained by NMBI.
- Minimum of 6 months post-registration psychiatric nursing experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Up-to-date mandatory training certificates desirable.
