SUPPORT WORKER (Childcare)
Kolbe Pre-School, Portlaoise.
(Permanent Part Time 50 hours per fortnight)
(Monday Friday roster)
Kolbe Pre - School is a well-established preschool in Portlaoise where children with addition and complex needs attend for sessional care. We are looking for a dynamic person who has genuine interest in education and care for children with higher needs. If you are willing to be committed, share your knowledge while also willing to learn, we would like to meet you. We require a person with very good observational and communication skills who is fun loving and will make a difference in our special childrens lives.

Essential Requirements:
- FETAC/ QQI Level 5 in Childcare (or a qualification as per dcediy list of recognised qualifications)
- Experience of working with children with Intellectual Disability
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and a team player
- A valid licence to drive a manual vehicle in Ireland.
- Minimum basic level IT Skills, using email, word doc, systems.
- Suitability as outlined in the introduction to the role.
