McHale is currently recruiting for General Operatives – Cutting. This is a Day Shift position and the hours are 7.45am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45am to 3.15pm on Friday. This is a full-time permanent position, reporting to the CuttingSupervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team in a well organised Cutting Department.
- Organising and feeding steel to the Welding area.
- Cutting steel using specialised equipment.
- Identify any quality issues.
- Continuous improvement of standards in their workstation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in similar role, preferably in Manufacturing.
- Previous experience in CNC desirable.
- Forklift experience/ticket desirable.
- Full Clean Irish/EU drivers licence.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- High level of enthusiasm and motivation and the ability to take input from others.
- Agricultural background is desirable but not essential.
