Working closely with the senior kitchen team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pastry and dessert experiences that complement our Michelin-starred offering. About The Role
The Role

Prepare and present desserts, petit fours, breads and other pastry items to fine dining standards.

Work closely with the Head Pastry Chef to support the day-to-day operation of the pastry section.

Contribute to the preparation and execution of seasonal dessert menus and pastry offerings.

Maintain exceptional standards of quality, consistency and presentation.

Assist with the development of new pastry concepts, desserts and techniques.

Ensure all food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards are consistently followed.

Assist with stock rotation, ordering and minimising waste within the pastry section.

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient working environment.

Support Commis Chefs and junior team members where required.

Contribute positively to a culture of teamwork, professionalism and continuous learning.
The ideal person has:

Experience as a Pastry Chef, Pastry Chef de Partie or strong Demi Pastry Chef de Partie in a Michelin-starred or high-end fine dining environment.

A recognised culinary or pastry qualification is desirable, though equivalent experience will also be considered.

Excellent pastry skills and a keen eye for detail and presentation.

Passion for seasonal ingredients, modern techniques and creative dessert development.

Strong understanding of baking, chocolate work, desserts and pastry production.

Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.

Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing workloads.
