About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Sales Representative to join our expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, delivering tailored energy solutions, and helping residential and commercial customers reduce their energy costs through solar technology.
You will manage the complete sales process—from identifying opportunities and conducting customer consultations through to closing sales and ensuring a seamless handover to our operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new business opportunities across residential and commercial markets.
- Conduct customer consultations and site visits.
- Understand customer energy requirements and recommend tailored solar PV solutions.
- Prepare and present professional quotations and proposals.
- Build long-term relationships with homeowners, businesses, developers and contractors.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from initial enquiry to signed contract.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline using CRM software.
- Collaborate closely with design, technical and installation teams.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets while delivering outstanding customer service.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' proven sales experience.
- Strong background in both B2B and B2C sales.
- Experience working within the construction, building materials, engineering, renewable energy or related sectors.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close high-value sales.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage leads and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own diary and pipeline.
- Full clean Irish driving licence.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
Desirable
- Experience selling Solar PV or renewable energy solutions.
- Knowledge of SEAI grants and energy efficiency programmes.
- Technical understanding of construction or electrical systems.
- Existing network within the construction or property sector.
