Inner city scooters is a looking for a detail-oriented and reliable In-House Accountant to join our team and manage all day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations
- Work with management to improve financial efficiency and reporting systems
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- [2–5+] years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
