What You'll Be Doing:

Plan, develop and deliver engaging internal communications across channels including Speakap, newsletters, presentations, videos, email campaigns and digital content.

Own and maintain the annual internal communications calendar to ensure clear, consistent and timely messaging across the business.

Produce creative content using Canva, Poppulo, Microsoft 365 and other digital communication tools.

Explore new communication methods and technologies to improve colleague engagement across both office-based and frontline teams.

Lead and manage employee engagement plans and initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive and connected workplace.

Take ownership of key engagement activities including recognition programmes, wellbeing campaigns, colleague events, Town Halls, conferences and awareness campaigns, managing these from planning through to execution.

Manage the annual LISTEN employee engagement survey communications cycle, helping to maximise participation and supporting the communication of results, action planning and follow-through.

Lead the delivery of agreed DE&I communications and engagement initiatives, working with the ERG and relevant stakeholders to drive meaningful awareness, education and participation across the organisation.

Partner with HR colleagues to create engaging campaigns supporting Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Wellbeing, DE&I, organisational change and other people initiatives.

Support internal employer branding by showcasing colleague stories, career development opportunities, business achievements and community initiatives.

Work with PHOENIX Group colleagues where appropriate to support Group communications and share best practice.

Monitor the effectiveness of communications and engagement activities using colleague feedback, platform analytics and engagement data.

Bring fresh ideas, creativity and innovative solutions to continually improve colleague communications and engagement.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
-
Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
-
Approximately 4-6 years' experience in internal communications, employee engagement, events or a similar role, with evidence of independently managing campaigns, initiatives or events from planning through to delivery.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for engaging storytelling.

Experience creating digital content using Canva, Microsoft 365 and communication platforms.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives, manage multiple priorities, coordinate contributors and deliver high-quality outputs to deadline.

Excellent relationship-building skills and the confidence to advise and influence stakeholders across different functions and levels.

Creative, curious and solutions-focused with a passion for improving the colleague experience.
