Job Title: Administrator – CEO’s Office
Reporting To: Executive Assistant of the Chief Executive Officer
Location: Head Office, Limerick Greyhound Stadium, Dock Road, Greenpark, Limerick.
Work Arrangement: Full-time. Initial training will be fully office-based, transitioning to a hybrid model (2 days remote / 3 days onsite).

About the Organisation
Rásaíocht Con Éireann / Greyhound Racing Ireland is a commercial semi-state body under the remit of the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine. (DAFM). RCÉ/GRI has licensed a total of 15 tracks in the Republic, of which nine are owned and controlled by the organisation. The remainder are owned and operated by private enterprise. RCÉ/GRI is responsible for the control, promotion, regulation, and ongoing development of the greyhound racing industry in Ireland.
Role Overview
The Administrator provides high-level operational, clerical, and administrative support within the Executive Office to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the executive suite. Operating within a high-profile semi-state environment, a critical, essential component of this role is managing, coordinating, and processing statutory Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, co-ordinating responses to parliamentary questions and delivering general administrative support, such as diary management, meeting coordination and document preparation requests on behalf of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

End-to-End Request Handling: Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for all incoming FOI requests submitted to the CEO's office.
Statutory Compliance: Manage files in accordance with the statutory timelines, frameworks, and public interest tests mandated by the Irish Freedom of Information Act 2014.
Parliamentary Question Coordination: Coordinate and draft timely responses to Parliamentary Questions (PQs).
File Retrieval & Records Management: Log, track, and extract relevant records, data, and executive correspondence across RCÉ/GRI systems and subsidiaries.
Executive Administrative Support
Office Governance: Maintain the day-to-day administrative workflow of the CEO's office.
Meeting Support: Assist the EA to the CEO with meeting preparation, agenda distribution, compiling Board & Executive packs, and taking accurate minutes.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Experience & Knowledge
Administrative Background: 2+ years of experience in an administrative role supporting senior leaders or office teams.
FOI Legislation: Experience in managing and responding to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
Data Governance: Working knowledge of GDPR.
