Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries about menu items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Monitor tables to ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables and dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other waitstaff to ensure smooth service.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate orders and exceptional service.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry heavy trays.
- Team-oriented and willing to assist colleagues as needed.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service essential
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
