Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to join the Steel Division, covering the North and Northeast of Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service.

Develop and grow sales of steel products within the assigned territory.

Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Proactively prospect and engage potential customers, ensuring all leads are followed up effectively.

Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and performance objectives.

Regularly travel throughout the territory to meet with current and prospective customers, understand their requirements, and provide tailored solutions.

Negotiate pricing and sales agreements while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Resolve customer queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.

Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, including daily call reports, weekly activity plans, and territory performance analyses.

Work closely with the internal sales and support teams to maximise sales opportunities and deliver exceptional customer service.

Proven sales experience with strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working towards and achieving sales targets.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using CRM and sales reporting systems.

Flexibility to work remotely and travel extensively throughout the assigned territory.

Experience within the steel, construction, manufacturing, or building materials sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
