Job Description
McGrory’s Hotel in Culdaff, Co. Donegal is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeping Staff Member to join our team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the hotel and ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest bedrooms to hotel standards.
- Change bed linen, make beds and replace towels and guest amenities.
- Clean bathrooms, including showers, toilets, sinks and mirrors.
- Vacuum, dust and clean guest rooms and designated hotel areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas when required.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and report low stock levels.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages or lost property to management.
- Follow hotel health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready within the required timeframes.
- Support other members of the housekeeping team when required.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage, but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends when required.
