Food Service Assistant
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our team in a caring nursing home environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and beverages to residents.
- Ensure dietary requirements and food safety standards are followed.
- Support residents during mealtimes where required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene dining areas..
- Work closely with nursing and catering staff to provide excellent resident care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, healthcare, or nursing home setting is desirable.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient, and respectful attitude towards older adults.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends if required.
