Job Title: General Operative (Port Operations)

About the Role
We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join our team in a busy port environment. This role involves supporting the safe and efficient movement of goods through the port, working as part of a team in a fast-paced, safety-critical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with loading and unloading cargo from ships, trucks, and containers
- Securing cargo using appropriate equipment and methods
- Operating basic machinery and tools (training provided where required)
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and port regulations
- Supporting supervisors and other team members with day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a labouring, warehouse, or port environment is an advantage but not essential
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, nights, and weekends
- Valid Safe Pass / Manual Handling certification (preferred but can be arranged)

Pay: €20.71 per hour
