Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the Operations team to ensure all projects are managed consistently, with clear plans, milestones and targets.
- Work with Business Unit Leaders and Line Facilitators to ensure customer expectations and operational targets are met.
- Assist in managing and monitoring Production operational budgets, including direct and indirect costs.
- Provide cover for Business Unit Leaders when required.
- Ensure Production employees comply with all safety and training requirements and that required standards are maintained.
- Be aware of relevant company policies and procedures and ensure requirements are documented, implemented and communicated to Team Leaders and Teams.
- Take an active role in identifying and implementing process improvements across all areas of the business.
- Support effective communications across the business, engaging professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all times.
- Support in leading, motivating and developing the Production team, with a strong focus on problem solving, teamwork and high performance.
- Work with the Operations team to manage and optimise labour allocation across business units.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on ad hoc projects that impact company goals.
- Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required by the business.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Degree in Production Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (2:1 Honours or above preferred).- Strong interpersonal and communication skills — able to engage confidently at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
