Ohshima Ireland LTD is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our growing team based in our facility in Shannon, Co. Clare.

Main Job Tasks And Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
Ensure purchase invoices are verified, processed and correctly coded in an efficient and timely manner
Preparation and processing of electronic transfers and payments
Ensuring suppliers are paid to agreed terms and reviewing payment runs
Ensuring the correct supporting documentation is available for audits
Liaise with suppliers and internal departments on queries
Working to continuously improve the AP processes
Processing and payment of employee expenses
Assist finance department with analysis/reconciliations as required
Process & Systems
Review, implement and improve existing controls
Proactively collaborate across multi-functional teams to create an environment that strives for consistency of best practices
Re-design processes and support automation
Personal profile
5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
3rd level degree in accounting/business studies or similar
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communications and time management skills
Excellent IT skills including high level in Microsoft applications (eg Excel).
Experience working with multiple systems/applications , knowledge of Opera an advantage
Accounts receivable experience (nice to have)
