We are seeking a Commercial Client & Delivery Manager to take ownership of client accounts and the delivery of reactive maintenance and light civils works.
This is a hybrid role (office and site - based) combining client development, commercial responsibility, and project delivery management. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities within client accounts, supporting pricing of works, and ensuring successful delivery from instruction through to completion.
You will work closely with back-office and site teams to ensure all works are properly planned, delivered, and closed out effectively.
Role overview
Client Management & Business Growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with commercial and corporate clients
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts
- Proactively identify and develop opportunities within existing and new client accounts
- Convert client requests and enquiries into active work
- Support the growth of repeat business and long-term client partnerships
Project Delivery & Ownership
- Take full responsibility for jobs from instruction through to completion and final close-out
- Plan, organise, and manage reactive maintenance and light civils works end-to-end
- Develop clear delivery plans and realistic timelines in collaboration with internal teams
- Ensure all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Monitor progress and proactively manage issues, risks, and changes
- Ensure full job close-out, including documentation, handover, and completion requirements
- Act as the key point of accountability for overall delivery success
Commercial & Cost Management
- Lead the pricing of works in collaboration with the team, making informed commercial decisions on cost, scope, and delivery approach
- Prepare and manage job budgets and monitor costs throughout delivery
- Maintain strong awareness of margins, value, and cost efficiency
- Use KPIs to monitor performance of works and support proactive decision-making
- Track job progress and financial outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities where possible
Coordination & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with back-office teams supporting scheduling, administration, and coordination
- Liaise with site teams to ensure efficient and safe delivery of works
- Ensure clear communication between office, site, and clients
- Support effective planning and workflow across multiple active jobs
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all works are delivered to required quality standards
- Maintain strong focus on Health & Safety compliance across all sites
- Promote best practice in reactive maintenance and civils delivery
Reporting & Accountability
- Provide clear and timely updates on job progress and client activity
- Maintain accurate records of works, costs, and outcomes
- Take full accountability for delivery performance and client satisfaction
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in construction, civils, facilities, maintenance, or trade background (required)
- Strong understanding of reactive maintenance and light civils works
- Experience managing client relationships and/or delivering works end-to-end
- Good commercial awareness (pricing, budgeting, cost control, margins)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Comfortable managing multiple jobs and priorities
- Self-directed with ability to manage own workload across office and site activity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Competent in IT systems (Excel, reporting tools, job tracking systems)
Pay: €45,000.00-€55,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Construction: 5 years (required)
- Project Delivery: 2 years (preferred)
- Cost Control: 3 years (preferred)
