Location: Co. Sligo
Salary: €14.79 per hour plus time and a quarter on Sundays.
Contract Type: Permanent
Report to: Director of Nursing
Nuvo are recruiting on behalf of our client, a residential nursing home in Co. Sligo for compassionate, and dedicated Healthcare assistants.
This role offer the opportunity to work in a supportive, person-centred care environment, delivering high quality care to older residents while working along side an experienced healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
-
Provide High quality person-centred care to residents
-
Assist with personal care, mobility and daily activities
-
Support residents with meals and hydration
-
Assist with social and recreational events
-
Work closely with nursing staff and report changes in residents' conditions

Follow infection control and health & safety procedures
Requirements
-
FETAC level 5 (or equivalent) in Healthcare Support
-
Experience caring for older people (preferred)
-
Good communication and team work skills
-
Genuine interest in caring for older people

Manual Handling & Patient Moving Skills
