We are currently seeking a Filleter\Fish Processor to join our team at Mc Donaghs, a busy Seafood Restaurant located in Quay Street, Galway City.
As a key member of our company, you will be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of quality and productivity are maintained.
Experience filleting preferred although full training will be given to the right candidate
Qualifications & Skills :
- Strong and physically fit to handle fish filleting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team, learn and follow instructions
- Knife handling skills and ability to fillet various types of fish accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Experience in a fish processing facility/shop is advantageous but not essential.
Duties:
Factory Operations:
- Preparing orders for delivery, including icing, filleting, lifting, packing.
- Ensuring minimal wastage during filleting, portioning, and other processes.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and sanitary factory environment.
