We are now recruiting for a Process Specialist (Hybrid) - for a permanent role in our Dublin Office.
JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Process Specialist role is to represent the business interests and requirements in the Process area by bringing knowledge of current business operations and taking responsibility for helping define how the business will operate in the future, enabled by the new technologies implemented by the programme.
This role manages changes that are required in the ‘Plan the Business’ functional area through solution of design, documentation of change, testing and coordinating of change through landscape and through to the deployment and end user training.
In this role you will lead and support deployments and help to design, build, test and deploy the Plan the Business solution for Sandvik Mining BA, by working closely with cross stream team members, business members and applicable consulting partners and connected systems. The role requires a deep expertise in SAP and other connected planning connected systems. The role must demonstrate the ability to interpret business challenges across multiple programs and recommend the best solution and practices to improve the end-to-end transport solution and business processes.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform the role of subject matter expert in Demand , Inventory and Supply Management within the ‘ Plan the Business ‘ process area and provide design and roadmap input for the process area.

Provide insight into how the business operates today and ensure that the requirements of the divisions / common functions are known and considered in the design process.

Coordinate system assessment discussions and related activities.

Contribute to and provide input to design and roadmaps for the process area.

Lead the implementation of ‘Plan the Business’ planning solutions, which may involve configuring the software, integrating it with other systems, and ensuring it aligns with business processes.

Peer reviewing change requests relating to the ‘Plan the Business’ space prior to moving forward to Business Area Design Authority approval.

Coordination, management & approval of transport releases through the test landscape.

Prepare functional specifications for RICEFWs (Reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, forms and workflows) and peer review as appropriate.

Actively own, promote and improve the technical solution and associated processes for your area.

Validate training material developed by the training team.

Support the Change Management team in assessing business change impacts and engaging with the business teams to drive adoption.

Provide input into resource planning.

Analysing proposed changes to business practices and advising senior management of any compliance implications.

Track, analyse and trend the overall performance of the Transportation Management system. Reviewing issues and completing root cause analysis to reduce issues reoccurring.

Other ad-hoc duties as requested by management.
Experience
- 7+ years solution experience, in both SAP and other planning solutions.

Strong knowledge of supply chain management processes and best practices.

Expertise in the configuration and implementation of SAP and other planning tools.

Prior work with integrations and exposure and experience with ETL layer and integration.

S4/HANA knowledge.

Logility Voyager or planning Tool exposure (IBP etc ) advantageous.

ABAP development and debugging knowledge is a plus.

Experience of agile delivery methodology for implementation

Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels within the company.
Education, Licenses & Certificates
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Prior process leadership experience is preferred for role development.
-
Prior experience in agile methodology is advantageous.

Change management leadership experience is advantageous.

Proficient in MS Office Suite.
