Early Days Foods is a growing Dundalk food manufacturer making chef-led frozen meals for crèches and schools across Ireland. As we scale, we're looking for an organised, confident all-rounder to take ownership of the finance and people administration that keeps the business running smoothly.
This is a broad, hands-on role — no two weeks are the same. You'll own five connected areas:
- Credit control — keeping cash coming in.
- Payroll administration — entering timesheets and tracking holidays and sick leave for our 47-strong team, across ROI and NI.
- HR administration — keeping employee records and files in order and acting as our day-to-day contact with our outsourced HR provider.
- Bookkeeping — Input of supplier invoices, monthly reconciliation of statements and other general bookkeeping duties.
- Company administration — keeping the office and company records running like clockwork.
- Other duties assigned by management
We're looking for someone who:
- has at least 3 years' experience in finance or office administration;
- has hands-on payroll and bookkeeping experience and is confident with accounting software;
- has sharp attention to detail and works in an organised manner;
- communicates confidently and handles sensitive information with discretion;
- ideally has cross-border (euro and sterling) or food / manufacturing experience — though that's a bonus, not a must.
- Have full clean drivers licence ( Minimum age for insurance is 25)
What you'll get: a competitive salary, a varied role with genuine ownership, direct contact with senior management, on-site parking, and the chance to grow with an ambitious Irish business.
