Deli Assistant (Full-Time and Weekend – Fully Flexible)
As a Deli Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while preparing and serving a wide range of fresh, high-quality hot and cold foods in a fast-paced deli environment. Your role involves engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner, accurately handling orders, and ensuring a positive overall experience. You will maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in line with HACCP guidelines, ensuring all food is prepared, stored, and displayed correctly. Daily duties include keeping the deli fully stocked and visually appealing, operating tills and handling transactions where required, and maintaining a clean, organised, and sanitised workspace at all times. You will also assist with stock control and rotation, following FIFO procedures, and work closely with your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the deli.
This position is open for weekend Deli Assistants, making it suitable for students, as well as full-time permanent roles. Candidates must be fully flexible and available to work 5 out of 7 days per week for Full Time position and Weekends includes Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays and any school holidays throughout the year, includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid permit to work in Ireland is required, and a full driver’s licence is essential.
Pay: €14.15-€15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16.0 per week
