AIM Level 7 Support Worker (ECCE)

Childhood Matters Early Years is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated AIM Level 7 Support Worker to join our team for the 2026–2027 ECCE programme.
The successful candidate will work alongside our Early Years Educators to support the inclusion, participation and wellbeing of children within the ECCE setting, helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all.
Key Responsibilities
Support children's participation in the daily ECCE programme.
· Promote inclusive practice and encourage children's independence.
· Work collaboratively with the Room Leader and wider Early Years team.
· Assist in implementing agreed support strategies for children with additional support needs.
· Contribute to a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment.
· Maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
· Follow all relevant policies, procedures and Children First guidance.
Essential Requirements
· QQI Level 5 qualification (minimum) in Early Learning and Care (or recognised equivalent).
· Genuine passion for supporting children and promoting inclusion.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
· QQI Level 6 or higher in Early Learning and Care.
· Experience working with children with additional support needs.
· Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta and the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).
