Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join their team on a major hospital extension project in Wexford.

Your New Role
As MEP Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of all mechanical, electrical and public health services on a significant hospital extension project
Key responsibilities will include

Coordinating all MEP services throughout the construction phase.

Managing and monitoring MEP subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Reviewing drawings, specifications, technical submittals and design information.

Identifying and resolving coordination issues and design clashes.

Attending and leading MEP coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team.

Monitoring installation progress and assisting with programme management.

Supporting testing, commissioning and project handover activities.

Ensuring compliance with healthcare project requirements, building regulations and quality standards.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders
What You'll Need to Succeed

A degree or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.

Previous experience in an MEP Coordination, Building Services Engineering, Project Engineering or similar role.

Experience working on large-scale construction projects.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations.

The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.

Previous healthcare project experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
