The Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join us on a maternity leave cover basis. This is a hands-on role that combines day-to-day online operations with managing and growing our social media presence. There is potential for the role to become permanent, particularly with a focus on social media and business support. The successful candidate will be based on site in our production premises in Co. Sligo.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with wholesale clients, managing orders and invoices.
- Communicating any updates with production management.
- Managing orders, stock, and general organisation.
- Assisting with general business operations as needed.
- Overseeing the daily running of the online shop - knowledge of Shopify a plus.
- Assist in planning, creating and scheduling engaging content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook).
- Monitor social media channels, boosting visibility through SEO and analytics.
- Engage with followers, and respond to comments/messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Research current trends, hashtags and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
- Support the creation of campaigns, promotional posts and stories to boost brand awareness.
- Travel as part of a team to promotional tastings at wholesale locations.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Customer-focused.
- Eager to learn and follow instruction well.
- Highly organised and able to work independently.
- Comfortable multitasking in a busy environment.
- Experience with social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
- Creative with an eye for content and branding.
- Own transport required - the successful candidate will be based on site in Co. Sligo, which is not served by any public transport links.
Pay: DOE
Working Hours: This job is open to both full time applicants ( 5 days a week) and part time applicants (3 days a week).
