Full Time Kitchen Porter – Daytime Hours Only (No Nights)

No Sundays | No Evenings | No Bank Holidays
We are a long-established, family-run restaurant (30+ years) operating a busy daytime kitchen. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking full-time Kitchen Porter to become an essential part of our kitchen team.
This is a fast-paced, structured environment where cleanliness, organisation and consistency are critical. The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining high hygiene standards and supporting the chefs throughout the day.
The Role
- Wash dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment to a consistently high standard
- Keep the wash-up area clean, organised and operating efficiently throughout the day
- Maintain excellent hygiene and HACCP standards at all times
- Receive deliveries, check goods and store stock correctly
- Assist with keeping the kitchen clean, safe and well organised
- Support the kitchen team wherever required during busy service
This role requires someone who takes pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards every single day.
Non-Negotiables
- This is a full-time position only – we are not recruiting for part-time hours
- Strong spoken English – clear communication with the kitchen team is essential
- Speed and organisation – you can work efficiently without compromising standards
- Attention to cleanliness – hygiene is a priority, not an afterthought
- Reliability – you turn up on time and can be depended upon
- Physical stamina – this is an active role requiring you to be on your feet throughout the shift

Requirements
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen or similar environment is an advantage but not essential
- Fluent/proficient spoken English (essential)
- Eligible to work in Ireland
