About the Role
Brosnan Property Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced, reliable Carpenter to join our growing team in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving reactive maintenance, repair work, refurbishment projects and general property upgrades across residential and commercial properties.
The successful candidate will complete carpentry and general maintenance work to a high standard while maintaining a professional, respectful and customer-focused approach on every site.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general property repairs and maintenance
- Complete first-fix and second-fix carpentry
- Repair, adjust and replace doors, windows, frames, locks, hinges and ironmongery
- Install stud partitions, plasterboard, timber trims, skirting boards, architraves and general joinery
- Assist with refurbishment, renovation and property upgrade projects
- Complete minor general maintenance tasks where required
- Work across a range of residential and commercial properties
- Communicate professionally with clients, tenants, property managers and office staff
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Provide accurate updates on job progress
- Maintain excellent timekeeping, reliability and site presentation
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in carpentry, property maintenance or a similar role
- Valid Safe Pass certification
- Valid Manual Handling certification
- Full, clean Irish driving licence
- Strong practical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Authorised to work in Ireland
