Murphy Brothers, based in Portlaw Co Waterford, are seeking to hire a Sales Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a background hardware /building supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers in person and by telephone or email.
- Processing sales transactions & managing point of sale systems
- Operating our computer based weighbridge system.
- Managing stock levels and keeping displays tidy, clean & well stocked
- Providing product advise and solutions to suit customer needs
- Supporting general yard duties as needed.
Requirements for the role:
- Knowledge of the Agricultural or Building sector an advantage, but not essential
- Comfortable using computers - training will be provided on our systems
- Friendly, customer focused attitude & adherence to safety is essential.
