We are looking a Head Mixologist to join our fantastic Armada Bar team as we launch our new cocktail menu "Coastal Chemistry" .
Inspired by the Atlantic, Coastal Chemistry looks at what happens when ingredients, technique and landscape collide. Clarifications, infusions, tinctures, fermentation, distillation and extraction all play their part. Old processes meeting newer ones. Instinct meeting precision.
Behind the scenes, the our Cocktail lab facilitates this new offering. A team of experts, obsessed with their craft, with process, flavour and pushing boundaries. Giving us the freedom to experiment properly, push ingredients further, and keep discovering new ways to translate their vision into the glass.
Our Head Mixologist will work closely with our Head of Beverage Development and Training but will need :
- 2-3 years’ experience in a 4/5-star Hotel as a Mixologist or similar role
- Comprehensive repertoire of cocktails & flair
- An eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests demands
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Excellent guest care skills and awareness

General Description of Role:
To increase guest satisfaction by providing efficient, prompt, trouble-free and courteous service to guests in the hotel bar area in line with departmental and hotel guidelines. To enhance the drinks offering and develop the Food & Beverage team’s skills & knowledge of beverages.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
· Participate in innovation workshops with Head of Beverage Development and Training to develop new cocktails and elements thereof. Examine ways that the Armada cocktail offering can incorporate the latest trend and how we can push the limits of extraordinary cocktail creation and presentation.
· Role model cocktail creation standards set down by Head of BD & T and coach other bar team members in same, to ensure quality and consistency.
· Participate in quarterly workshops provided by Best-in-Class experts from F & B industry.
