About Us
Real Estate Signs is a specialist provider of real estate signage printing and installation services across the South East of Ireland. Based in Carlow, we work with estate agents throughout the region and are currently expanding our installation services beyond traditional property signage.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for reliable and motivated Sign Installers / Drivers to join our team. We are particularly interested in candidates based in Kilkenny, Tipperary, Waterford, Dungarvan, Wicklow, Wexford, or New Ross, as local knowledge is a significant advantage when covering routes in these areas.
The Role
As a Sign Installer / Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of signage at various locations. This is a hands-on outdoor role that combines driving, practical installation work, and the use of mobile technology to manage jobs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver signage to customer locations across your designated area.
- Install and remove real estate and commercial signage safely and professionally.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow daily job schedules and route plans.
- Use smartphone apps, Google Maps, and our internal web-based job management system.
- Communicate with the operations team via WhatsApp and other digital tools.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment to a high standard.
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with clients and the public.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Requirements Essential
- Full clean driving licence.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Safe and responsible use of hand and power tools.
- Comfortable using smartphones, apps, and navigation technology.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Commercial driving experience.
- Experience in sign installation, print production, construction, maintenance, landscaping, or a similar practical role.
- Experience working in a print shop or signage environment.
- Current Safe Pass certification.
- Current Manual Handling certification.
Training will be provided for the right candidate, so previous sign installation experience is not essential.
